Hi, all.

Can some1 help me?

The problem is that i want to connect my old netgear DG834G ( 2nd Router ) to my new netgear DGND3300 ( 1st Router ), wirelessly. like a extender.

Ive gone through some sites about how to do this, and able to change the settings.

On my mobile i can see the 2nd router and connect to it but i surf the net.

What ive changed in the settings of the 2nd router;

IP to 192.168.1.1

Changed the SSID.

Turned off the DHCP server off.

Ive added both the mac addresses of the 1st router to the 2nd router

In the 1st router setting, ive not changed much,

IP to - 192.168.1.2

Enabled the Wireless Repeating Function as Wireless Base Station but not put any MAC

addresses.

After all this i cant get the two routers to connect wirelessly???

Can some1 plz help me, cos i cant figure out now what i need to do.

Thanks.

Hi Rizla_29

The Products that you are trying to use wont beable to wireless connect to each other. The only option would to be run a ethernet cable from one router to the other.

You would need a Wi-fi extender like this one

They are quit cheap to get now :)
