As time has gone by its progressively been getting slower and slower. Do you think it's a virus? What's a good virus checker to use? Thank you for your help. Quote

Let's check that first though. download MBAM from here - click here - ( you want the FREE version ) Install it > update it ( important ) > run it. ( quick scan .............. may take up to half an hour or so ) It will produce a log. Copy this and post it here please. If there is anything untoward one of our malware experts will advise you further.
