Hi all, hope you can help with my issue.

Fonts.

I'm using windows 7, on a works platform, and the font siezs are driving me mad.

Lotus notes is too small ....

Firefox is about right,

but IE 8, the fonts are way too big. Makes looking at the pages overwhelming really.

Something's gone wrong somewhere, but I dont know where.

I've tried taking the fonts back to default, but that doesnt seem to work. I've also played with the settings in ie explorer, but still no joy.

Can post shots if needed?

Any ideas?

Hi and welcome to Extreme Tech Support - Free PC Help.

For sizes to be different in different browsers, makes me wonder if at any time the Ctrl key and the + key have been pressed simultaneously where it is too big, and conversely Ctrl and - keys will have made it smaller.

In both cases try Ctrl key and the 0 key together, that will bring them back to original sizes.

When those key stroke settings are used in either IE or Firefox those browsers remember that setting for each time they are opened.

I am glad to hear it was the simple answer that fixed it, thanks for the feedback.

For the odd pages where the font is small and difficult to read, it is worth the mention that the Ctrl key and the + key will enlarge the fonts and everything else on the page. Remember Firefox and Internet Explorer will remember the setting for each time you visit the page or site.
