Plastic Nev Posted October 1, 2013 Posted October 1, 2013 Hi and welcome to Free Pc Help. I am sorry to say that we cannot help with password protected equipment. There are legal reasons for this and I ask you to read rule 5 in our forum rules here :- http://extremetechsupport.com/threads/11463-New-to-Free-PC-Help-Forum-Rules Sorry about that and I suggest continuing to try and get help from the previous owner on this issue. KenB Posted October 3, 2013 Posted October 3, 2013 ive tried to contact them but they are not replying to me Did you buy this from eBay ? If so you can get you money back by contacting them. They will mediate on your behalf. If the seller will not reply to you then you COULD assume that the laptop was stolen in the first place. If this is the case he wouldn't know the login name or password. You may ask eBay if this is possible - obviously don't accuse the guy straight off. :) Quote There is an email going around offering processed pork - gelatin - and salt in a can ......this is simply SPAM !!
