System32 issue

Hi

vista home premium. Dell Inspiron 530. When logging on, after I have entered my password, I get a black box with the following.

 

"C:\users\Admin\Documents\5719034b.exe" is not recognised as an internal or external operable programme or batch file.

 

C:\windows\system32>

 

and then a flashing underscore curser wanting a command.

 

Help!! Any would be appreciated

is a executable file , my questions are have you tried safe mode etc and do you have access to another pc and a usb stick ?

Thanks for the reply. I do not know what an executable file is. I have not tried safe mode - I'm not familiar with it. I do have access to another pc and USB stick. Thanks again

Hi again a executable file is a a file that runs a program , also here is how to boot into safemode could you try this and see if you get the error again , if not we can try things from there , the blue word will take you to a link on how to boot into safemode

Hi. Thanks for your advise but not working, I still get the message after I have entered my password. I can get to the desktop via "guest", but cannot get to Internet. Is there any way I can enter my password via this route?
