Hi all, I have a Sony Vaio VGC-M1 onto which I have just reinstalled windows XP Home edition.

My problem is the drivers!

In my device manager I have a yellow ? Against

Mass Storage controller

Multi Media Audio Controller

&

Multi Media Video Controller

I have tried downloading the driver package from the Sony site but I still have no sound from my speakers.

Can anyone help me please?

Loof

Hi Loof.

Did you get the drivers from here?

http://www.sony.co.uk/support/en/product/VGC-M1/updates

Make sure you select XP.

Scroll down to Preinstalled Drivers and Utilities first and select Original Drivers Package

Download and SAVE the file. Onced saved right click and select Extract all. (It's a zip file)

Open the new folder. Open the drivers folder.

Inside those folders most of them will have a setup/application or install/application file you can double click.
