Seth Posted February 4, 2008 Posted February 4, 2008 Thanks for the tip Maynard. Tabs missing in Task manager are indicative of a malware infection. As such, I've moved your post to this forum. With that being said, the tabs can be restored by using tweak #264 at this site: http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks.htm Quote Need help with your computer problems? Tony D Posted February 4, 2008 Posted February 4, 2008 Try double clicking in the top - I kinda remember something about having to double click some common program window to get it to display properly. AdvancedSetup Posted February 5, 2008 Posted February 5, 2008 If it is what I think he's talking about you just double click in either the "CPU Usage" or in the "CPU Usage History" and it will restore the TABS, or remove them depending on what you want. It is a feature of Task Manger that has been around since the dawn of ages. http://kixhelp.com/wr/images/taskman.jpg Quote Need help with your computer problems? Then why not join Free PC Help. Tony D Posted February 5, 2008 Posted February 5, 2008 I've duplicated it. Double click right above the line above the word TASK. -Tony Quote Need help with your computer problems? AdvancedSetup Posted February 5, 2008 Posted February 5, 2008 Yes, each Tab can be done that way. It is by design. Nothing wrong with the box if that is the only issue.
