bj43cj47 Posted November 5, 2013 Posted November 5, 2013 Hi again. Can someone explain how I can install/download Microsoft WordArt. I've used it on this laptop before, but for some reason I can no longer find it. It's not in "programmes" etc. I must have been able to download it in the past as I've run off a design using it. Thanks Quote
KenB Posted November 5, 2013 Posted November 5, 2013 As far as I know "WordArt" is part of MS Office and is an element of "Word" itself. Do you have MS Office installed ? Hi Ken, Hmmmm! not sure, I recall MS Office, but not sure if it was on my old tower system prior to getting the laptop. But I have definitely used WordArt on this laptop. Quote

bj43cj47 Posted November 12, 2013 Author Posted November 12, 2013 Thanks for the link Ken, very interesting, but still scratching my head as to how I managed to create the design in the first place, but now can't find it. I'll play around a tad more. Quote
KenB Posted November 13, 2013 Posted November 13, 2013 If you discover what you used in the past I am sure folks here would be interested to know how you did it :) Quote There is an email going around offering processed pork - gelatin - and salt in a can ......this is simply SPAM !! bj43cj47 Posted November 13, 2013 Author Posted November 13, 2013 I'm both baffled & frustrated. I'll certainly post up when/if I find it again. But, don't hold your breath Quote
KenB Posted November 13, 2013 Posted November 13, 2013 Not sure what you are trying to do - but found this on-line WordArt. click here Example: [ Various possibilities ] DO NOT click on the "Download" ....the generator is at the bottom of the page and is totally on-line ....nothing to download. bj43cj47 Posted November 14, 2013 Author Posted November 14, 2013 Clicking on download for wordArt on that link took me to an app for "MypictureNook"??? which would have meant another browser being added. So I reneged. Thanks again Quote
KenB Posted November 14, 2013 Posted November 14, 2013 Clicking on download for wordArt I said in my previous post to ignore the download link - it is ALL internet based ..... nothing to download. Take another look. Quote There is an email going around offering processed pork - gelatin - and salt in a can ......this is simply SPAM !! MiniToolBoxNetwork TestWireless Test
bj43cj47 Posted November 14, 2013 Author Posted November 14, 2013 Okay Ken, gotcha this time, but it's not the WordArt that I used prior. In fact it's nothing like it. Previously In could go to MS Works, click MS word processor & have the WordArt options along the bottom of that page, thereby selecting anything I wished to do with the text I was typing in a WordArt box, graphics, colour, size, shadow etc Having done that it was just a case of clicking ok & all was transferred to the page I was working on, so easy. From the text I've read, quote " the chances of getting right first time are pretty remote" I can type some text in the example box, click "preview" & it appears in another area, but after that there's nothing else that I can do without downloading the software. What comes up is just an example. Quote
