Hi again. Can someone explain how I can install/download Microsoft WordArt. I've used it on this laptop before, but for some reason I can no longer find it. It's not in "programmes" etc. I must have been able to download it in the past as I've run off a design using it.

Thanks

As far as I know "WordArt" is part of MS Office and is an element of "Word" itself.

Do you have MS Office installed ?

Hi Ken, Hmmmm! not sure, I recall MS Office, but not sure if it was on my old tower system prior to getting the laptop. But I have definitely used WordArt on this laptop.

Thanks for the link Ken, very interesting, but still scratching my head as to how I managed to create the design in the first place, but now can't find it. I'll play around a tad more.

Not sure what you are trying to do - but found this on-line WordArt.

Example: [ Various possibilities ]

DO NOT click on the "Download" ....the generator is at the bottom of the page and is totally on-line ....nothing to download.

There is an email going around offering processed pork - gelatin - and salt in a can ......this is simply SPAM !!

Clicking on download for wordArt

I said in my previous post to ignore the download link - it is ALL internet based ..... nothing to download.

Take another look.

Okay Ken, gotcha this time, but it's not the WordArt that I used prior. In fact it's nothing like it. Previously In could go to MS Works, click MS word processor & have the WordArt options along the bottom of that page, thereby selecting anything I wished to do with the text I was typing in a WordArt box, graphics, colour, size, shadow etc Having done that it was just a case of clicking ok & all was transferred to the page I was working on, so easy. From the text I've read, quote " the chances of getting right first time are pretty remote" I can type some text in the example box, click "preview" & it appears in another area, but after that there's nothing else that I can do without downloading the software. What comes up is just an example.
