One of my fav apps for android is Viber http://www.viber.com/ and since it's available for all other platforms too it's pretty good , Why am posting this is I want to take my hat off to them I received the following message from them earlier.

 

In the light of the current situation in the Philippines , we are releasing Viber Out a new service allowing calls to regular non viber numbers in the Philippines for free , To use this service you need the latest version Viber 4 . We are also pledging all our profits from this season to our Beneficiary the Philippine Red Cross

Viber is not one of my favorite apps, I prefer skype, but of course, skype doesn't associate phone numbers with their skype account yet, but they plan to do it.

The thing is you have 33% of your friends on Skype, 33% on WhatsApp, 33% on Viber and you can't be everywhere or your device turns very slow (yep, my mobile phone only has 512mb of Ram)
