Hello all,

I'm looking to buy a new laptop at a reasonable price and want to make sure I get something that lasts long and basically does the job.

What do you guys think about the [h=1]Samsung 350V I5 Laptop with Windows 8 - Silver (At Argos for £499). Or I can get something better at the same price..?[/h]

The specifications of the laptop can be found here: http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/5089064.htm

The main use of the laptop will be uni work. I need something that's efficient in multitasking and also not too bulky and heavy.

Any advice/help is appreciated :)

Thanks,

Zuleikha

Hi and welcome to ExTS

If you are paying £500 for that particular laptop I am sure that you can find one - same spec - lower price.

Take a look here:

The Aspire V3-571 gets a good write-up.

( I have this one )

Read the reviews - make notes on the specs for comparison.

There are other options too.

You should be able to save at least £50 on what you have posted a link to.

There is an email going around offering processed pork - gelatin - and salt in a can ......this is simply SPAM !!

MiniToolBox

Network Test

Wireless Test

Hi! Thanks for your help.

Decided on this one

It's the same price but has higher RAM and drive space. I'm guessing the price justifies it.
