Hi Tony

Welcome to Extreme Tech Support - Free PC Help

Well if your running Firefox then the addresses are in Bookmarks, just right click on any of them and in the drop down box just hit Delete.

In IE Bookmarks are called Favourites.

Is this what you mean?

Hi tony and welcome to Extreme Tech Support - Free PC Help;

The feature you are talking about is called AutoComplete.

In Internet Explorer 7:

Open Internet Explorer.

From the Tools menu, click Delete Browsing History.

Click the Delete button under Form Data.

Click Yes to confirm your actions.

Click Close.

If you're using IE6 pleast post back;

Click on the Content tab at the top.

In the AutoComplete section click on Settings.

Select your choices.

Click OK. Click OK

Have a look at the top Tony where it says Help.

In there is a section called About.

Tell us what it says in About please, mainly the Version number.

If you have IE6:

Open Internet Explorer.

From the Tools menu, Click Internet options.

Click on the Content tab at the top.

In the Personal information section click AutoComplete.

You can clear the AutoComplete history from here by using the Clear Forms tab and Clear Passwords tab.

If you had AutoComplete set to save addresses you typed in the address bar and want to clear those, you might have to clear History from the General tab.

I am at my PC at work and not on my PC at home that I have the problem with.

On my Pc at work we run Windows xp Internet explorer 6

The reason I am saying this if I could find my way around this Pc I could do it at home.
