tismehi Posted December 27, 2013 Posted December 27, 2013 my wifes windows 7 laptop has a new issue with cookies. when trying to log into her lottery account, she can't log in because of cookie issues. she uses firefox so i suggested trying logging in with ie and the failed result repeated. i went to the help section in mozilla and followed all of the instructions - all of boxes have already been ticked as recommended, and still it will not connect. i have tried shutting down and restarting and all windows updates are ok. tismehi Posted December 28, 2013 Author Posted December 28, 2013 she always uses the latest version of firefox. i just tried it again and cleared the browsing history data and restarted, but i still gives the same error message. i tried it with ie and for some reason it now works - even before i tried the above suggestion! tismehi Posted December 29, 2013 Author Posted December 29, 2013 i went and tried to check this and firefox would not open. constant egg-timer. closing it gives two options - close or wait to respond. all very, very slow but does eventually close. i shutdown and restarted - no change. i then uninstalled firefox from control panel and re-installed it again. after restarting i tried opening firefox again but it was just the same.
