Urgent help needed for new years eve regarding kindle fire hdx

I have recently purchased a kindle fire hdx mainly for the showbox app for streaming films and tv shows, now the problem is at home I can not play any videos which I think is because my router or internet is blocking the app/site as when I visit my friends and family it works no problem, I have talk talk broadband with a Huawei hg533 router where as my family and friends have sky or virgin media and the app works fine, I am currently thinking I need to change router settings or get a new router completely, any help would be greatly appreciated as talk talk customer and technical support have been no help at all

I am not familiar with kindle fire hdx but I AM with Talk Talk !!

 

Can you access the site using a Windows-based machine?

 

Can you post a link to the Showbox site that you are trying to access please?

When I was in UK in 2011 I also had some problems with talk talk. They had something called "homesafe". It used to block me from Facebook.

 

Have you tried to check if Homesafe is enabled? If yes, try disabling it and see what happens.

showbox is not a site really its a app available on android based phones/tablets heres the link though anyway com.tdo.showbox

Yeah checked that its definitely off, it works fine with sky and virgin media but talk talk insist its not a problem with them just try and blame everyone else, I have even forked out for a new router with the same results
