peter1929 Posted January 22, 2014 Posted January 22, 2014 Hi, My Kindlefire HD will not connect to the internet. I keep getting "Authentication Failed" even after entering the correct password. I thought this might be a signal strength problem so brought it upstairs to be within a yard of my router but got the same result. Can someone please help me out? Best wishes, Peter. Quote
kernel Posted January 22, 2014 Posted January 22, 2014 (edited) May I ask what router you have? The router may have MAC filtration on it. If that is the case, you would have to gain entry into your router and add the MAC address of your Kindle into the router. If your router does not have MAC filtering, try turning the router on and off again. Edited January 22, 2014 by kernel Quote
