rcoyet Posted February 8, 2014 Posted February 8, 2014 Hi, Sorry for the Titel, I wasn't sure what to call it. At the moment I have printed papers with just a letterhead, and when I want to print a document on it I insert the pre-printed letterhead in the printer and the document is printed on it. How can I do this without pre-printing the letterheads? For example, when I press print it should ask me which document has the letterhead and it should print both at once. Does anyone know a program which will do this? Thanks Quote
KenB Posted February 8, 2014 Posted February 8, 2014 You don't say what you are using to produce the letterhead and document. You could use a Template - so that you have your letterhead etc already designed > open the template and create your letter / document. rcoyet Posted February 9, 2014 Author Posted February 9, 2014 Thanks for your reply. The letterhead is save in a pdf format, and the documents are printed from ebay or other websites. Thanks Quote
KenB Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 If I understand you .... You have a PDF document on your system ............you want to select text from a website .............. then you want to merge the two into one document with one click and print. I am not aware of any software that will do this. Others here may be able to advise further. Plastic Nev Posted February 10, 2014 Posted February 10, 2014 What sort of office or document handling software do you have? Is it the Microsoft Office or Microsoft Works or one of the other and free software? In any sort of word processing software you can create an ordinary document page with the letterhead and store it just as that, when wanting to use it, open the document in the word processor, either type or copy and paste your text into it and then print it. Simple as that really. Nev. Quote Need help with your computer problems? Then why not join Free PC Help. Register here. If Free PC Help has helped you then please consider a donation. I am not aware of any software that will do this. Adobe Reader will allow you to do this. Open your pdf in Adobe Reader, click on the Add Text near the top left hand side. Go to your web page or Word document or wherever you need to copy text from, select your text and copy to Clipboard. Come back to Adobe Reader, paste in text, adjust, tinker with etc and print when happy. Quote

I feel like I have tried to do that on Reader and wasn't able to do so. I could be wrong. I'm not on my own computer at the moment to double check. Quote
