Still can't get fullsize page

Although I have brought this problem to Freepchelp before and (unusually not obtained a solution) I thought I'd try again in case anyone new is looking and may be able to help?

The problem is more of a niggle than a major issue but I would love to sort it out!

Problem is whenever I click on a new page when browsing the new page appears at approx 70% size. I then have to expand the page to full size each time by clicking the top right hand corner of the page.

I can keep the full size when I move to another website or page by just minimising the full size page and opening up a new page which opens in full size but this is a bit tedious and if I close the page back to desktop then the next one I open is again a smaller size and requires expanding via the top right hand corner.

Hope this is not too 'waffely' to understand!!

Anu suggestions please?

I don't know the answer Ray, but does it perform exactly the same regardless of the Screen Resolution setting? Have you tried it from one extreme to the other.

 

Control Panel> Display> Screen Resolution.

What internet Browser are you using?

 

Have you tried using another browser to see if the fault occurs in that ( Google Chrome , Firefox ETC )

I am unable to try these suggestions ATM as I'm rushed off my feet with (two 'real jobs' ) plus 'er' at home', plus grandkids etc

Hi Ray.

I know we tried this before but like I said it should work.

 

Open IE and make sure it is not maximized on the top right.

 

Drag the edges of the window to full size.

 

Do not close the window.

 

Open a second window and drag the edges to full size.

 

Now click the maximize button in the second window.

 

Now click the maximize button in the first window.

 

Close the first window.

 

Close the second window.

Just to add a little to what Randy has said -

 

It is important that you drag the edges of the open window to fill the screen using your mouse or mousepad

Do not use the little box that is top right to do this.
