PEV Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 I have an icon for youtube on my desktop from which I use to connect and play mostly music but also any required video clips. When trying to play music clips I have been getting a message '500 internal server error' which due to wording suggests ita a malicious piece of malware. As rest of my pc is working ok with no warning from my AVG AV of problems I wonder if the problem is with Youtube - hopefully not my end! here is the url Can anyone shed light on this please Thanks Ray Quote
PEV Posted March 13, 2014 Author Posted March 13, 2014 oh oh! The link I have sent to this forum connects to the propper video not the message I have been getting instead of a video. Message says 500 Internal server error a team of 500 monkeys has ben dispatched to solve this problem if you see them let them know and then there lines and lines of gobbledegoop. At the momwnr I'm doing a scan with Malware bytes although a full scan with AVG Free shows no threats. ray Quote

Starbuck Posted March 14, 2014 Posted March 14, 2014 Hi Ray, If you run a google search for 'youtube 500 internal server error 2014' you'll see loads of hits for this. There have been quite a few problems with You Tube this year. You Tube was throwing up this error for some, yesterday. Quote Member of:UNITE
