Hi to all,

I have been getting this pop up message lately ,can anyone help with this. Is it safe to allow it or should I try to find out how to delete it.

"The previous webpage wants to run the following add-on Adobe Shockwave player 12.1 from Adobe Systems Incorporated "

Hi, It should be safe, however if that message is showing up it means you may not have the plug in installed.

To find out, go to this page where it will tell you if it is installed and what version, or if not it should also tell you.

You can then click the blue link to the adobe download centre to download and install.

Shockwave Flashplayer is required for various web pages and animations.

Hi, if it shows you have it in your control panel, you should be able to download the shockwave player which will update the version you have, from Adobe via that page I linked to, at least then you know it is genuine.

However, I have just re-read your first post, the pop up says "Previous" web page? If you have changed to a new page I can't see it being relevant. Have you run scans with security/antivirus software? If so what results and which software was used please.
