Was it any better using the Ethernet Cable ? usb wireless lan I assume that you are using an adapter that connects into the USB port ? I would have thought that device Manager would have listed this more specifically re: Make and Model. 3. What is the Make and Model Number of the Wireless Adapter ? 4. Let's check to see if you have any malware on your machine that is slowing it down. Please download MalwareBytes onto the problem machine. Follow the directions here: click here Just follow step 1 that relates to MalwareBytes. Post the results of the scan here please. ================ Just a note: From past experience locating the problem with slow / problematic internet is a slow process as there are so many variables. You could try uninstalling Chrome if you particularly want to use that and then re-install it. Otherwise FireFox is not a bad browser.
