DVD Shrink and Nero 2014

Hi

 

Many thanks for previous help, the forum has been excellent for me so far.... anyway enough crawling. I have lost my previous version of DVD Shrink and want to install it on my recently upgrade Windows 7, preferably with a working copy of Nero.

 

All advice greatly appreciated, a lot of sites for DVD Shrink direct you to different unwanted software installs.

This software can be used for copying DVDs ( I assume that is what you intend to use it for )

The problem with it is, as I see it, the software can be used to circumvent copyright on DVDs too.

It could be used for copying Films / Games etc.

 

This is a quote from the DVD Shrink site:

Most DVDs are designed to prevent you from making copies.

.......... DVDShrink overcomes this problem with built-in decryption algorithms.

I am not an expert in copyright law but I do know that in the UK it is illegal to duplicate copyrighted material.

 

I am not suggesting that this is what you are going to use the software for - but from our position we cannot be seen to be providing links, or assisting in any way, to duplicate copyright material.

 

I hope you understand why we cannot assist any further with this particular question.
