Samsung have announced a 3.2TB solid state drive that instead of being the latest SATA III base is actually PCIE based for even faster speeds, more here.

Interesting article Nev. I suspect it will be a few years before prices come down far enough to be affordable by Joe Public :)

The really interesting thing is opting for PCIe mounting, maybe other manufacturers will catch on to that and produce smaller SSD's for it, if so it could be a real game changer, though there may have to be some sort of tweaks for the BIOS to see it and boot from PCIe.
