AdvancedSetup Posted March 24, 2008 Posted March 24, 2008 Well can't say as I agree with that as I have 3 PCs that have 2 burners in them. 2 that are Intel based and 1 that is AMD based. All 3 work fine for me. You can actually burn the same CD to both burners at the same time for making copies. Don't know of any incompatibilities with running 2 or more optical drives myself. Are you sure there were not issues in the Windows 9x days when the bus speeds and 16Bit code was more of an issue? Quote Need help with your computer problems? Then why not join Free PC Help. Rusty Posted April 3, 2008 Posted April 3, 2008 Yes, its secure. I'm really at a loss now. Do you think a new hard drive would solve the problem? Really grateful for all your advice! Hard drive? I dont think hard drive would be the problem. maybe motherboard or power supply. Quote
