KenB Posted October 19, 2014 Posted October 19, 2014 Hi Yes - the Win7 disk will just format the drive and install over Win8. You will, obviously, lose everything on the hard drive. Make sure that you backup everything that you need from the drive before you start the installation. If the installation does not start - you may need to go into the BIOS and change the boot order so that the DVD CDROM is the first in the boot order.
