Hi,

I've a few video clips I need to play through OneDrive and a few months ago I could do this. The clips are still there as they play but with sound only (no picture).

Any ideas how I can get the picture back please?

Nothing has changed on my Widows 7 PC in any way - apart from no picture on the clip:(

Thank you

Hi Timberland,

I've just put a video clip on mine to see if it worked ... and it did.

While waiting for a more informed answer try uploading a new clip and see if there is any picture on that one ... I'm wondering if some update or add-on has changed your settings.

The trouble with One Drive is that nothing stays there forever, it is only a service meant for sharing really. The clips you have stored there may well be corrupted now I am afraid.

I have sent and received plenty of ordinary photo's to and from people in the past year or two, and the only one left is from earlier this month. Anything sent via One Drive from others, or sent by you to others, should be kept on your own computer and not left as just an only copy on One Drive.

Thanks Nev, what you're saying fits with my scenario. I'll probably look to avoid OneDrive in future.

Nb. I've just started using DropBox so might use this as weapon of choice going forward...
