seedy21 Posted November 8, 2014 Posted November 8, 2014 Hi Yemi I can still see that there is an Error with your USB Port. Also the logs show that the program S4 League has also been having some issues. How old is your laptop? Do you know if you still have any active Warranty. Can you explain what happened when your machine Force shutdown and all the faults appeared? Was anything plugged into the USB Ports when your machine force shutdown? Does your Devices work on the USB 3 port you have? KenB Posted November 9, 2014 Posted November 9, 2014 Please answer Seedy21's questions first. Then: Re-boot the machine and constantly tap F8 about once per second. You should be taken to the Advanced Startup Options From the list select "Last Known Good Configuration" Take a look at Device Manager after this. Let us know if there is any change. Yemi Posted November 9, 2014 Author Posted November 9, 2014 I have been messing around with the s4 League program which might be the problem with that program. I bought this laptop around 2 years ago. The warranty has proberlly expired but i do have insurance on it. The laptop just randomly shut down and when turned it on 2 of my ports were not working. When my laptop shut down, my mouse was plugged in. 2 the ports are not working( 2.0 one's ). The 3.0 one works with other devices except for my 3 mouses. Quote
Yemi Posted November 9, 2014 Author Posted November 9, 2014 To KenB, Ill try and do that when i get home Quote
Yemi Posted November 9, 2014 Author Posted November 9, 2014 Finally my ports has been fixed! I Resterted my Laptop about 20 times and then it worked! :) Thanks for all your help guys :) Quote
KenB Posted November 9, 2014 Posted November 9, 2014 Hi Yemi I don't understand why restarting multiple times would fix it - but happy to hear that your problem is solved :) Out of interest - did you try the "Last Known Good Configuration" ? Yemi Posted November 9, 2014 Author Posted November 9, 2014 I tried that and i chose the last date but the ports still didn't work. That's when i started constantly restarting the laptop out of fustration. That may have helped the ports to work though. Quote
KenB Posted November 9, 2014 Posted November 9, 2014 Either way - problem solved :) Quote There is an email going around offering processed pork - gelatin - and salt in a can ......this is simply SPAM !! MiniToolBoxNetwork TestWireless Test
