Hi I'm using windows 7 and sometimes when I use Chrome or Explorer to visit Facebook, my pc will work for a while then become sluggish and then freeze. yesterday was a nightmare and I couldn't get the cursor to move or anything, so I had to reboot the tower. Now i am worried I may have damaged the hard drive, is there a free tool or something that can test whether the hard drive is wearing out etc?

Many thanks.

Hi, Donna has already answered your question here :-

You can either continue there and I will keep an eye on how that goes and possibly contribute if required.

Or we can continue here, but please keep it to one place or the other to save confusing advice being given.
