Hi

Did you take a look in the Recycle Bin ?

They may be there.

Do not install or save anything on this machine as this could over-write the section of the hard drive where your photos are.

They should still be there - even though you can't see them.

If they are not in the Recycle Bin ( usually on the Desk Top ) download Recuva from here: click here

You want the FREE version.

You can use the "Wizard" mode and if it is just photos you can specify File Type .... which would be .jpg

There is an email going around offering processed pork - gelatin - and salt in a can ......this is simply SPAM !!

Hi

You could give this one a try too - click here

It is free to use.

Make sure you click on the blue download link as when I had a look there were links to other stuff on the page.

There are other free recovery options.

Almost... recovered them and had a lot of pics come up, but when I went to recover into the computer it didn't want to put them in, didn't get much luck

but when I went to recover into the computer it didn't want to put them in,

Try saving them to an external hard drive or a memory stick.

I suspect that recovery software will not save to the same drive it is recovering from.

If you can see the pics then there is a good chance we can get them back.

Remember do not install or save anything to the computer - that includes auto updates

Regarding taking control of your system:

I am afraid we do not do that - sorry.

I know it seems an easy solution but look at it from our point of view.

If we accessed your system then at some point in the near future you had your bank account hacked ...who would you look to initially ?

Also if your system started playing up in the near future - same thing.

Some people may have sensitive material on their computers and we would not want to be accused of accessing that.

It is easier for us if we keep the advice to the forums. :)

Hi

no luck... dont know how to do it..

Firstly select the drive that you wish to scan ... this will be C:

After the software locates your deleted files do the following ....

[ you can search specifically for pictures ]

1. select the files that you want to recover by ticking the small boxes on the left

2. Click on the "Recover" button

3.The box in the centre will pop up for you to select where you want to save the files to.

4. Select your Memory Stick if this is where you want to recover the files to.

You should be able to recover to C: drive if you wish but this is not recommended.

5. Click OK
