Johnboy63 Posted November 25, 2014 Posted November 25, 2014 Hi all firstly many thanks for brilliant past help. I have a hardware problem. Got a CTX monitor which is switching on and off until it warms up, then fine. Secondly what can I do to speed up my PC general performance? many thanks Quote
KenB Posted November 25, 2014 Posted November 25, 2014 Hi Can you try the monitor on another PC ? This will tell you if the problem lies with the monitor or your system. Secondly what can I do to speed up my PC general performance? This depends what extent you want to go to. 1. Do you wish to spend money on this system ? If so - how much ? 2. How old is this system ? 3. Is it VERY slow ? Do programs take a while to load ? Is it slow to boot up ? [ give us some times ] 4. How much RAM do you have ? 5. I assume that this is XP ? If so - are you running SP3 ? Give as much information as you can please. Quote There is an email going around offering processed pork - gelatin - and salt in a can ......this is simply SPAM !!
