TV Sound Bars.

Ive ordered theSamsung HW-F350 40 INCH upwards sound bar.

 

Our TV is a Samsung 43 inch flat screen.

 

I have had no experience at all with sound bars,just asking has anyone had experience with them,are they any good etc?

 

Or should I send this Samsung sound bar back?

Seems to be a good bit kit from these reviews, though one guy does mention you will need an optical connection cable as it isn't supplied, also if wanting blue tooth connectivity, better going for the next higher numbered model, you will see that in these reviews though.

Thanks Nev,I read them already and ordered a cable at the same time.I just wanted more personal view from those who I kind of know.

 

I have a few of the cables here but bought hopefully more up to date one.

Big mistake i made when buying a soundbar, was buying one without a bass box.

Although it had good reviews, the sound was awful.

Put up with it for about 4 days and then disconnected it and connected a 2.1 speaker set from a spare PC..... worked great.

As the one you linked to has the separate bass box.... it should sound fine.

Thanks Starbuck.It arrived today along with the audio cable I ordered.

 

All set up,had a bit of difficulty trying to sink the sound with the TV.Everyones mouths were moving before the voice sounded LOL.Yes I chose one with a Sub Woofer,turn off the SW and the sound is horrid.

 

Apart from arriving in a huge box and I noticed on the delivery van there where the exact same make and model loaded for more deliveries.They where half price in

A mazon compared to elsewhere so worth buying.No need for the huge box.

 

So far I am happy with the purchase.
