HELP PLEASE CANT DOWNLOAD AVG FREE 2015 FOR ALL THE ADDS

CAN SOMEONE HELP PLEASE! can you post a url or at least instructions that lead me to an easy way to download AVG FREE because I just cant find an easy way. Google Chrome is blocking a 'Softronic download stating it might harm my browsing experience.

I have removed AVIRA AVand am trying to download AVG FREE 2015 so ATM I have no AV protection and I CANT get past all the adds trying to make me buy all sorts of stuff. Of course the option to pay for AVG is very easy and not a problem

Panic over guys I managed to download AVG FREE...eventually Soooo frustrating though!!

That's good to hear Ray.

 

The problem with "free" software these days is that mirror sites tag on a whole bunch of extras that you obviously don't want.

The mirror site gets paid for all the junk it can off-load onto you.

It is getting more and more common - and as you say .......VERY frustrating.

The only thing is to be vigilant, read every window that opens during the installation, remove ticks from boxes and always use the advanced or custom install when it is offered to be able to spot and stop the junk.
