RoyPks Posted February 5, 2015 Posted February 5, 2015 Internet Explorer I have mistakenly copied my Internet explorer folder to my desktop, therefore I have two folders. I have tried to delete the desktop version but get the following message : You require permission from OUR-COMPUTER\Roy to make changes to this folder How do i remove this folder please in easy steps please? KenB Posted February 7, 2015 Posted February 7, 2015 Right click on the desktop - New - Folder Give it a name Left click and hold on the IE Icon and drag it over the new folder. Release the left button. IE Icon should now be in the new folder. Windows sometimes does that and treats your Admin account as a restricted user ... the "Take Ownership" tool sometimes comes in handy :) The folder may be in the Recycle Bin ....you may wish to delete it from there too.
