RoyPks Posted February 6, 2015 Posted February 6, 2015 Every now and again Firefox will freeze and I get the message 'not responding'. How can I solve this please. Quote
Ray1000 Posted February 6, 2015 Posted February 6, 2015 Hi Roy, Assuming you are receiving an uninterrupted, reasonable broadband signal. You could try deleting it in Control Panel > Programs and Features and downloading it again. I used Firefox for a while then changed over to Chrome which seems to work quite well. KenB Posted February 6, 2015 Posted February 6, 2015 Hi You could try a different browser - other than F-Fox. Chrome for instance. If this doesn't drop out then your problem lies with F-Fox. It could also be your router. Quote There is an email going around offering processed pork - gelatin - and salt in a can ......this is simply SPAM !! MiniToolBoxNetwork TestWireless Test

KenB Posted February 7, 2015 Posted February 7, 2015 If you are having the same problem with both browsers then the problem probably lies with your router. Try unplugging the router power .....leave for 30 seconds ...plug it in again. I have had this problem before and it was the router that needed replacing. Tried this also but has not sorted the problem. I have now re-installed Firefox and all seems OK, will come back to you if I have the problem again. Thanks for the help. Quote
