Im able to build PCs and understand the basic operation of them and can fix some problems. Where I really fall down is viruses/malware/spyware, what scanners (free/paid) do you use and from this information how do you remove them (manual/use a program). I struggle to understand scan results and am wondering what I need to learn ie more about the registery etc? Many thanks in advance Quote

This is a very specialised skill and those people who help others actually are trained in malware / virus removal. It is not something that you can pick up as you go along by trial and error. I must state that I am not trained to help in this specialism - but we have people here who are. am wondering what I need to learn If you are interested in learning more then you need to read Starbuck's post on this subject. - click here The training is totally free. This is a long(ish) process and requires commitment - but the benefits are to be seen at the end of training when you can help others to clean their systems and get them running again.
