PEV Posted March 2, 2015 Posted March 2, 2015 (edited) The AV I have on my HP All in one desktop is AVG Free 2015. Today when I booted up, apparently from AVG there was a warning about Superfish malware and how dangerous it could be. The warning did not say I had the malware in my machine it was more of a warning that it had been covertly built into some computers by the manufacturer and there was an offer to download a tool to remove it. This I did not do as I am always wary of downloading/clicking on anything I am not sure about. Can anyone give me more information and whether I should be concerned about superfish. KenB Posted March 2, 2015 Posted March 2, 2015 Hi Ray One of the security team will, no doubt, give you more information on Superfish .... Starbuck did point us in the direction of this link - click here If you have more than one browser run the test using each one. If you need to run Malwarebytes - this should remove it.
