Unable to download apps or open attachments or download progs

Hi all, Just a short one to ask if anyone knows a cure for the above issues, which show error code 0X80072ee4?

Have searched on Google but most of the fixes require a download which is not possible, bit of a chicken and egg thing,

have not found anything else that appears to work.

Sorry for the slow response - I must have missed this one :(

 

Try a System Restore to a date just before the start of your problem.

Open the Search Box ( Windows Key + S )

Type in ....recovery ....Click on the "Recovery" box.

Click on "Open System Restore" > Next

 

You may need to check the box that says "show more restore points"

 

Select a date just before the start of your problem.

Files - photos etc will be fine.

 

Make sure that you use the mains adapter if this is a laptop.

You don't want to lose power during this operation.

thanks for your reply, I had already done a system restore before my initial post (and several other so called cures) I'm only now glad I could not download some of the other so called "fixes" as who knows what state the comp would be in?

I have now discovered the problem and rectified it (took less than a minute to execute) If you wish I will send details as it may be a good starting point for anyone with similar problems.
