KenB Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 Hi Bob I did see your post but was hoping somebody else may jump in as I am not too sure of connecting 2 routers in the manner you describe. Is the repeater not doing its job properly ? Quote There is an email going around offering processed pork - gelatin - and salt in a can ......this is simply SPAM !! KenB Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 I can try to help Bob but I cannot guarantee success. Let me have the make and model numbers of both routers please. If the router was supplied by your ISP it is unlikely to be able to be configured to do what you want. KenB Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 the old router was supplied by ISP it is inventel model dv4210 WV Hi Bob It is unlikely that you will be able to set this up as the vast majority of ISP supplied routers have limited user functions. EDIT: Just found this thread .... click here It seems that my initial thoughts were correct ....... not possible :( Quote There is an email going around offering processed pork - gelatin - and salt in a can ......this is simply SPAM !!
