When browsing the Web I sometimes like to listen to music via 'Clementine' and recently the web seems to add a lot of interference to the sound, the sound is fine when not on line.

Any suggestions.

Hi Roy, can you explain please how you are listening to the sound?

Are you using windows media player, or similar to listen to music from your own computer, or is it music being streamed from a website and therefore using the browsers player, usually Flashplayer.

Thanks for the reply.

I am listening to mp3 files stored on my HD via 'Clemintine', as soon as I click on Firefox or Google the crackling starts.

No internet files play fine.

Hi, and thanks for extra information. On a different forum I recently saw someone having the same problem and using a different player as well.

I advised trying VLC player instead which solved the problem for them, so worth a try as it is a full open source and free media player capable of handling all type of video or sound files. Download from here :-

Give that a try and see if any improvement.

You can also uninstall Clementine and then download and install the latest version, the interference and crackling noises may be something Clementine's makers may know about and hopefully have cured.
