Corbyarrow Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 Hi Everyone, Just wondered if anyone has any suggestions to help me... I used to have a Canon MX850 with the MP Navigator software. With that software, I could scan multiple documents which would appear in the software's window. I could then rearrange or delete pages before saving all the scanned pages as one pdf. If any page did not scan properly, it could be re-scanned and inserted. With the new software for the MX925, it seems that I can only scan one document at a time and then save that as a pdf. I have just scanned a large two-sided document, but the adf must have picked up two sheets at once, as two pages were missing. With the old software, I would have scanned the missing pages, dragged and dropped in the correct position and then save the complete document as a pdf. With the new software, it seems I either have to scan the whole lot again or scan and save the missing pages as a different pdf and then edit the pdfs using separate software (this would be ok for one document, but I have a big pile to scan and it was so much simpler with the old software). It is quite frustrating that Canon have removed this functionality from their new software, unless I have missed something? Does anyone know of any scanning software that will allow me to scan multiple documents and rearrange page before saving as a pdf? I have tried reinstalling the old Canon software, but it won't work with the new printer's drivers. Thank you Quote
KenB Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 Hi and welcome to ExTS Not sure if this will do all that you want but it is worth a look. - it is free click here You should be able to scan multiple copies and re-order them. You should also be able to delete the pages you don't want before saving. You can also import documents etc etc. Quote There is an email going around offering processed pork - gelatin - and salt in a can ......this is simply SPAM !! MiniToolBoxNetwork TestWireless Test
