Hi George

Sorry for the late reply - I missed this somehow :(

If you are getting a message that "BIOS not supported " there are only two options.

1. Update the BIOS ( if there is an updated version available )

2. Stay with Win-7

Personally I would be inclined to stay with Win-7

If the BIOS upgrade goes wrong your machine will be useless.

Also there is no guarantee that the updated BIOS will be compatible.

If you give me the make and model number of the machine I will see if I can find out a little more.

Out of curiosity, why do you want to upgrade to Windows 10? What do you want to do with it that you can't do with Windows?

Unless it's really important to you, you might be well advised to avoid a load of frustration and stick with Windows 7.

Hi George

I have just done a search for your lattitude D630 - some are having problems and others not.

If the BIOS is being highlighted as incompatible as I said before - I would be inclined to leave well alone.
