PEV Posted January 7, 2016 Posted January 7, 2016 Hi everyone. I have an elderly all in one HP psc 1110 all in one printer/copier/scanner which is linked to my HP Envy (much more modern desk top with Windows 8.1) It has worked fine over a year since I got the desktop but today a light flashing telling me to check the ink cartridge has appeared, When this happens the cartridge needs replacing and I have always done so with no problem at all However this time after correct cartridge replacement the light has stayed on and the printer/copier will not work. I have the excellent HP 'Print and scan doctor' programme which has always ID'd the odd problem but I'm getting no where with it this time it just tells me to check the ink cartridge! and even looking up the HP help/support site has also been fruitless. Hopefully one of you has/has had this old but excellent hardware and can point me to the problem (I'm hoping) Ray Quote
PEV Posted January 7, 2016 Author Posted January 7, 2016 I have realised problem!!! I checked and replaced the black cartridge only but forgot to do same with the colour one (which rarely gets used) Once I replaced it the problem is solved! Can this thread now be closed Thanks Ray Quote
