ianoak999 Posted February 22, 2016 Posted February 22, 2016 Hi since upgrading to Windows 10 I cannot log into my Windows Live Mail account without putting my password in every time, and if I receive email and they contain pictures every picture is marked by a little x in box. I have checked the settings and the box is ticked to allow pictures to open but its not working, any help pointing me in the right direction would be much appreciated. Ian Quote
KenB Posted February 23, 2016 Posted February 23, 2016 Hi Ian and welcome to ExTS :) Can you let us know which browser ( Chrome / FireFox / Edge ) you are using please ? Do you know if you have it set to delete cookies at the end of a session ? If you have to log into sites like this every time ( system does not remember your details ) it could be as I suggest above. ianoak999 Posted February 23, 2016 Author Posted February 23, 2016 Hi Ken, I am using Chrome and I have just gone through the settings and I cannot see any box ticked to delete cookies at end. Ian Quote
KenB Posted February 24, 2016 Posted February 24, 2016 Hi Ian Open Chrome ....top right there are three horizontal bars .... click on this > Settings Scroll down to the bottom > Show Advanced Settings Scroll down to Privacy > click on Content Settings Cookies / Images / Javascript should all be set to "recommended" ( the first option ) There is a "Reset" option that will reset all to defaults - you may wish to try this if the above doesn't fix it for you. This is at the bottom of the page. Quote There is an email going around offering processed pork - gelatin - and salt in a can ......this is simply SPAM !! MiniToolBoxNetwork TestWireless Test

KenB Posted February 24, 2016 Posted February 24, 2016 Hi Try the "Reset" option. Also - download FireFox and try this. click here Having two browsers on the system is useful at times. Also: Take a look here - click here Under the "Servers" tab .....there is an option to "remember password" ....make sure this is checked. I know this is an old version but yours should be similar.
