HuePotato Posted March 1, 2016 Posted March 1, 2016 Just slapped this thing into my case and threw it all together. I keep getting an amber blinking LED from the status LED, which according to table 40. System Status LED, it means it's non-fatal alarm – system is likely to fail, and one of the following is true. -Critical voltage threshold crossed -VRD hot asserted -Minimum number of fans to cool the system are not present or have failed -In a non-sparing and non-mirroring mode, if the threshold of ten correctable errors is crossed within the window. Can someone help me figure out how to find out the problem and to fix it? If I need to elaborate more, I can. KenB Posted March 1, 2016 Posted March 1, 2016 Hi and welcome to ExTS Check that all fans are working and are rotating at speed. If they are - then check that the fan connectors are located in the correct sockets on the motherboard. It could be that the MB expects them in specific sockets - if you have them wrongly connected the system may not detect a fan ( even if it is working ).....hence the warning LED. You may need to refer to the motherboard manual. Quote There is an email going around offering processed pork - gelatin - and salt in a can ......this is simply SPAM !!
