Guest Wolfeymole Posted February 26, 2008 Posted February 26, 2008 If you have a recovery partition on the drive then may be able to do it from there. Quote
booyaka Posted February 26, 2008 Author Posted February 26, 2008 how do i do that please, thats what i think i used on the lapdtop i bought Quote
maynardvdm Posted February 26, 2008 Posted February 26, 2008 Recovery partion is normally f10 on startup. You can check if you got an recovery partion by doing the following: Go to control panel then dubbel-click Administrative Tools then dubbel-click Computer Management then click on the plus by storage then click on Disk Management and it will show all the partions of the hard drives. There is normally one that is about 3GB. Some other laptop uses Alt + F10 at start-up. Did you get a manual with this pc? Quote We are all members helping other members. Guest Wolfeymole Posted February 26, 2008 Posted February 26, 2008 Oh dear looks like you need a new disk mate get on to the manufacturer to send you one, it may cost though. Or did you get the pc from a mate? Quote
maynardvdm Posted February 26, 2008 Posted February 26, 2008 To find out if the CD-ROM image is on your machine, search for a folder named I386. There may be several but the one we care about will contain close to 7,000 files, two of which will be winnt.exe and winnt32.exe. Quote We are all members helping other members. RandyL Posted February 26, 2008 Posted February 26, 2008 Hello; Does this computer have a Recovery CD/DVD Creator? If it does and a disk has never been made you can create one.
