Previous updates have brought only small changes and performance improvements, but the new versions introduced today comes up with several new features and options on PCs powered by Windows 10. As you can see in the screenshot attached to the article, Mail and Calendar, OneNote, Get Started, Microsoft Photos, Microsoft Wi-Fi, and Movies & TV have all been updated today, so it’s a pretty big rollout for Windows 10 users. Movies & TV improvements Change logs have not been provided for all of the aforementioned, but the Movies & TV universal app is the one exception this time, especially because the changes that are available in this version are quite significant as compared to older releases. The new version brings improved media transport control layout, as well as new “skip forward” and “skip back” buttons in the media playing screen for better control of the video. Furthermore, the download time estimates are now available for movies and TV program downloads, according to Microsoft, while movies and TV programs can now be deleted from your collection of each of your devices. As usual, these updates are being shipped to computers running Windows 10 through the integrated Windows Store, and in case you’re not seeing them just yet, click on your profile picture in the store and launch the Downloads and updates section. Hit the option that reads “Check for updates,” and they should all then show up. In the default store configuration, Windows 10 automatically downloads and installs updates, so the chances are that they’re already on your PC. The latest version of the Movies & TV app is 3.6.1867.
