walk me through please

I want to change restrictions

Bob

If Snapseed displays the error "this app does not have access to your photos or videos" after selecting Open from Device, then Snapseed's access to Photos is restricted. To resolve this:

  1. Go to Settings > General > Restrictions.
  2. You will be required to type in your device's passcode.
  3. Once it is typed in, go to Photos.
  4. Make sure that Allow Changes is checked.
  5. Enable Snapseed in the list.

Hi Bob,

Go to Settings > General > Restrictions.

You will be required to type in your device's passcode.

Once it is typed in, go to Photos.

Make sure that Allow Changes is checked.

Enable Snapseed in the list.

I take it you are talking about the Snapseed settings here? .... not the Win10 settings?

Sorry but I'm confused.

There is no >> General >> Restrictions in the Win10 settings app.

Bob,

I am sure Pete's suggestion that the path you need is when you have opened "Snapseed"

Open it up and see if there is a "Settings" in the Toolbar or in "Files" if this exists. [ I don't use Snapseed. ]

It seems to make sense that any restrictions would be made from the software itself and not from Windows.

There is an email going around offering processed pork - gelatin - and salt in a can ......this is simply SPAM !!

Hi Bob,

BTW what is IOS system.

iOS (originally iPhone OS) is a mobile operating system created and developed by Apple.

I don't use Snapseed either, but I have looked into this.

Ok, so you do realise that this program is for use on an Iphone or an Android phone.

The Desktop version (for Pc's) has been discontinued.

This is why you need an emulator on your system so that the app can run.

Did you follow these instructions............

  • The first step is to download an emulator. Bluestacks (get here) is the ideal of all.
  • Once the emulator is downloaded, install it and launch it on your device.
  • Now you can look up for Snapseed in the search box, and then download it via this emulator, that is Bluestacks or the one which you have downloaded.
  • When done, all you need to do is install it on your device, and launch the app with the icon on your screen.

As Ken stated, any restrictions will come from the app you are using not from the Win10 OS.
