KenB Posted May 22, 2016 Posted May 22, 2016 Hi and welcome to ExTS :) Try the following ( it sometimes works ) Take the battery out. Unplug the charger connection. Press and hold the power button for 10 - 20 seconds Leave the battery out and connect the charger. Try it now. KenB Posted May 23, 2016 Posted May 23, 2016 Hi Mark Still trying to get the overall picture. After you upgraded to Win-10 did it ever boot up? How old is the machine? Do you have the original Win-8 installation disk or was Win-8 pre-installed ? If you have a disk you could try re-installing Win 8. If you have data on the drive that you want see below ref. enclosure / caddy If Win 10 was up and running .... It is possible to create a Win-10 repair disk using another Win-10 system see here - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5F2vmWqX3QE This is worth a try to get you to the repair options. If you get nowhere with that I am thinking that this may well be a hard-disk problem. Are you confident enough to take it out ? If so I would suggest connecting it up to another machine to see if it is accessible. To do this you would need a 2.5 inch enclosure [ Caddy ] - these are quite cheap. Let me know what you wish to do. Quote There is an email going around offering processed pork - gelatin - and salt in a can ......this is simply SPAM !! MiniToolBoxNetwork TestWireless Test
