Homebuild PC No graphics

Hello

I have been given a part build PC its contents Sabretooth x79

 

 

board,i7 chip (uncertain of speed yet),Corsair rm1000 water

 

 

cooler, 32gb of Beast ram & a rather nice case. I have added a

 

 

500gb sd drive & LG BR writer.But when I come to add a Graphic

 

 

Card I,m having all kinds of problems.

I have powered up machine with no Graphics card and everything

 

 

seems to work, fans spin,various lights on MB light up,pump

 

 

lights etc.But as soon as I install an 8 days old Gigabyte

 

 

Geforce gtx 970 (that I have tested in my other pc &

 

 

works).When I power up machine, Nothing.

Remove card and it boots.

Ive tried a Radeon r7 card as well, the pc boots but nothing

 

 

comes to screen (please note I have tried both cards in both

 

 

PCIe 3.0x16 slots)

With no onboard graphics I cannot get into the Bios, Please

 

 

any suggestions

I am sorry for this slow response - I have been on holiday.

 

Cards work on other M-Boards but not on yours.

It sounds like a m-board problem at a first guess.

 

Let me know if you are still having problems.
