Starbuck Posted July 18, 2016 Posted July 18, 2016 We are short staffed at the moment due to illness and holidays. If I had more knowledge in this area I could give you some pointers.... but sadly this isn't my field. Quote Member of:UNITE
Dopey Posted July 18, 2016 Author Posted July 18, 2016 Ok its not like its real important, I will hang on and wait then, as I value the help on this site a lot, so would rather wait for a response here than some idiot (like me) just guessing what it is or what to do, thanks Quote
Starbuck Posted July 18, 2016 Posted July 18, 2016 Thanks for your understanding. I have contacted a colleague that is more versed in this field .... hopefully he'll be able to help. Quote Member of:UNITE
DSTM Posted July 19, 2016 Posted July 19, 2016 Hi Dopey. Follow these instructions and see if helps to get only one external drive entry. What method are you using to back up? http://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/4675-drives-navigation-pane-add-remove-windows-10-a.html Quote Confidence, is the feeling I get, moments before I stuff something up.Â
DSTM Posted July 19, 2016 Posted July 19, 2016 Could you post a screen grab of "Disk Management" please so we can see what sizes partitions are? Thanks. Quote Confidence, is the feeling I get, moments before I stuff something up.Â
Dopey Posted July 22, 2016 Author Posted July 22, 2016 Could you post a screen grab of "Disk Management" please so we can see what sizes partitions are? Thanks.  I dont know how to do that Thanks guys, I think its done now, I just highlighted the photos and docks, and dragged them over to the removable hard drive, although its still showing Toshiba EXT(E:) 2 time on the drop down bit where it says This PC, like on the tree, thanks for the help you guys a great Quote
Dopey Posted July 22, 2016 Author Posted July 22, 2016 I folowd the instruction on the thread and loded this down 64-bit_Add_Drives_to_Navigation_Pane.reg http://www.tenforums.com/images/dl2.png 4. Save the .reg file to your desktop. But it didn't give me the option to put it in the desk top, so I dont know where its gone now! when I followed the link it told me to run this explorer shell:::{a6482830-08eb-41e2-84c1-73920c2badb9} And it did show me the external drive, but it showed just one Quote
Starbuck Posted July 22, 2016 Posted July 22, 2016 Hi Dopey I dont know how to do that This link will explain how to do this: How to a take a screenshot on a PC with Windows 7, 8, or 10 Once you have the screenshot saved, add it as an attachment to your post..... Start a reply here ..... click on the Go Advanced button under the reply box Scroll down and click on Manage Attachments Click Add Files On the next screen click Select Files Navigate to the screenshot on your system..... click on it to select it.
