Sebastian42 Posted August 4, 2016 Posted August 4, 2016 In Win7, I could select the area to be snipped as soon as I had launched Snipping-tool; but in Win10, I have to first click on 'NEW' - which I find an inconvenience and would like to avoid. I have tried to run the snippingtool.exe from Win7 in Win10 without success; even when used in COMPATIBILITY mode. Is there a way to avoid the 'unnecessary' extra step ? Quote
KenB Posted August 4, 2016 Posted August 4, 2016 Is there a way to avoid the 'unnecessary' extra step ? I don't think there is. Associated with the "New" option is a down arrow that gives further options [ rectangular etc ] If it went straight to the snipping tool these would be bypassed - along with various other options. I think you are stuck with it the way it is. Quote There is an email going around offering processed pork - gelatin - and salt in a can ......this is simply SPAM !!
